8,7:On the nose, sugarcane juice, slowly releases flowery, herbaceous, vegetal aspect, as the barrel impact is strong with bourbon and sherry notes, nicely rounding our first impression.The fruits are dried and yellow, the wood roasted with roasted nuts, hazelnuts express themselves on aeration. 8,8:On the palate, the attack is really delicious, syrupy with sweet sugarcane honey, as the cane is grassy, herbaceous and flowery, the barrel impact is strong again, with bourbon, sherry, as the fruits are mostly yellow and the wood is roasted with pastry, spicy with pepper, slightly smoky. The cane becomes mineral, when the rum is well oxidized. 8,7:The finish is long, dry, the cane is fresh with tea, grassy and herbaceous, various fruits intermingle with each other, like yellow, dried and citrus fruits, the wood is still roasted with nuts, leather(sherry), oaky and spicy with vanilla.

Premier community meeting RumX à Acht. Herbes sèches et noix de cajou, du végétal, des fruits jaunes, de la cerise et des fruits tropicaux. La première bouche est douce, puis les arômes se renforcent avec les fruits jaunes, un côté végétal et un côté pâtissier plus marqué qu’au nez. La finale est plutôt courte même si des arômes fruités restent longtemps.

Also der war echt stark, wenn man den Preis bedenkt, echt top. Schöner Agricole, ist natürlich sehr pflanzlich, kräuterig und floral, aber auch leicht blumig. Ansonsten kann man noch etwas Holz und Würze erkennen.

Bei Clement denke ich automatisch an die grandiosen rare Casks, hier haben ein völlig anderes Profil. Ein schöner enspannter Agricole mit typischen grasigen, pflanzlichen und Kräuternoten. Was noch gut durchkommt ist der Zuckerrohrsirup.

What a great find, and the price is a absolute steal! A lot of nuance with a nice, fat mouth! Alcohol integration is not 100%, but still going down down like a nice fruit salad. I wonder how many more rums from Clément I have slept on?
