Ooooh yes, another very alcoholic rum. You can't really taste anything more like alcohol. But that's exactly what I like. A very strong rum if you only pay attention to the percentage. Very tasty :)

Part of the 1423 christmas rum-calendar of 2023. In the nose it's very tequila-like, with a fruity freshness and smoky hints. I found the notes to be very funky, with dried fruits, coconut and some spicyness

Somewhat light alcoholic spirity smell. Tequila comes to mind. Taste very spirity too. Not unlike wodka. Weird chemical sweetness. Not sure what to think of this.

Mezcal on the nose, plus some fruit. Some ester, a little dirty. I like it. Some sweetness, quite warm on the palate. Alcohol relatively edgy. Then tips directly into allspice and dry wood - a bit of a shame, simply because it's quite unrounded.

Well, it is not something you want to sip in a chair. Maybe it could work in cocktails but who knows. Nosing is smoky maybe peated, fruity and alcoholic. Nothing better you can expect of taste. It is alcoholic but expectable, dry, slightly smoke, and chemical. Im not a fun of such rums.. :) so 5 only for the barrel proof

Sample no.2 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2023. Very alcoholic on the nose. A smokey tequila with a splash of tar. Taste is better than the nose but still alcoholic, but at 58 ABV you get what you’d expect. More of a smokey burnt rubber along the alcoholic tequila. This was not my style of rum.
