Aroma visualization from community tastings
Barikenn Foursquare Barbados MBFS 2011
"An unusual Foursquare," as one taster put it — and the coconut is what people notice first. The nose is soft and gourmand, all coconut, pineapple and demerara sugar, with a faint varnish edge. On the palate it turns sweeter and more chocolatey, though several found the finish short and a touch spice-forward. Easygoing rather than heavy, and at 54.4% it stays gentle.

Soft, coconut-led Foursquare single cask Well liked as a gentle, coconut-and-cocoa Foursquare with pleasant sweetness. A few felt the fruit fades on the palate and the finish runs short.

Review by Vincent D
On the nose, it seems very sweet, fruity, with a hint of coconut. No doubt about its origin. On the palate, it's as fruity and sweet as ever. The coconut is very present. Cocoa on the finish. Not very long finish, with cocoa notes too. Very pleasant. 2nd tasting: very much in line with the first. Rather greedy and pleasant. Less fruity and spicier than the 1st tasting, but more gourmand. Very cool.
