Die Nase ist sehr angenehm mit roten süssen Beeren, Vanille und Karamell-/Butterscotcharomen. Am Gaumen verteilt er sich anfangs weich und leicht mit gebranntem Zucker, bevor er ins holzige, bitter werdende Spektrum wechselt. Etwas Frucht ist noch erkennbar. Im Abgang dominieren die holzig bitteren Aromen und der Rum verliert dadurch etwas. Insgesamg aber ein recht guter Agricole

#4475 18.11.2023 I had hoped to try this one because it was the new Romhatten release and I was not disappointed. Powerful flavours and overall great balance between the fruit and roasted wood notes. The palate is intense yet oily and fresh as well as oily. The finish is extremely long and even after a glass of water it was still there.

This is my first J.M, it was selected by Mads from Romhatten.dk. He says it's a rum of the old J.M style, I just have to say that I'm into the old style. Because woow it's good. In the nose is fruit, sweetness, red ripe berries. In the mouth it is round, soft and lovely fruit of berries and a little vanilla. The alcohol is super well interested and leaves you wanting more. A bottle I should be careful not to empty too quickly and alone, it should be shared with good company.
