Un assemblage de la Martinique et de la Thaïlande, mais dont on ne ressent pas vraiment l’alchimie. Le nez est assez timide, avec des notes de mélasse caramélisée, de canne et des fruits confits, des fruits secs, des épices douces sur la vanille et le poivre, des noix mais aussi des notes végétales et herbacées. C’est plutôt léger et simple sur le plan olfactif. La bouche est dans la même lignée, avec une attaque douce et légère où la canne, les épices (muscade), le bois et les fruits secs sont présents mais à petite dose. Au contraire les notes plus agricoles surgissent en milieu de bouche de façon plus affirmée et sont légèrement désagréables. Les deux terroirs ne se complètent pas vraiment et aucune synergie ne permet de mettre le jus vers le haut, jus dont la teneur en alcool est déjà relativement faible. La finale est un peu plus longue qu’escomptée mais ne propose rien d’original. On retrouve une énième fois la canne, les épices, les fruits secs et les notes végétales et herbacées. Déjà que le nom n’est pas facile à porter (et à dire !) mais en plus de cela la qualité n’est pas forcément au rendez-vous, ce qui est dommage pour un assemblage prometteur d’un embouteilleur si réputé.

Basically a nice, very beginner-friendly and probably very young Agricole, but I would never have thought of Thailand as part of the blend, as you can't taste or smell much of it. Overall, unfortunately a bit thin and gone very quickly (short finish)... Nice, but somehow nothing special and I don't understand the point of the blend.
