The Wild Parrot Worthy Park Saint Catherine 2006
Not the ester bomb you'd expect from a 13-year Worthy Park. Tasters keep noting how restrained the funk is — more fresh pineapple, passion fruit and honey up front, then oak, vanilla and a grapefruit-currant bitterness. One member even called it almost whisky-like: dry, spicy, with the 55% tucked away neatly. The nose runs light, but the palate is where it opens up.

It's good, greedy, a little "light" on the nose but the rest on the palate is enormous. I love it 😊 Pretty WP as I like it 🤩
Review by Rhum Mirror 🇧🇪
The nose is fruity (pineapple, passion fruit and banana) and floral, fresh and a far cry from the high ester rums of Jamaica. On the palate, it's more grapefruit-groseberry bitterness, but it's sweet despite the 55% alcohol content. The finish is long and rather spicy.

29.10.2022 whisky & Rum Festival, nice event with a few friends and a few of our own bottles. Another very nice release from The Wild Parrot. Fruity and fresh as well as intense. Needed to rest for a good while. Spicy and natural sweet palate with a long and warming finish.

Perfumed WP. Very nice independent character. Great finish. Should have tried once. Blind tasting
Review by Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓
Blind tasting.Had already guessed WP when smelling. Although I found the nose rather unpleasant. 😳The alcohol is very well integrated. A demanding rum, not for beginners.
