Worthy Park S.B.S Jamaica 2021 WPL-CJN (Bottled for the Netherlands)
Anyone chasing young, cane-juice Worthy Park will find plenty here: a full basket of tropical fruit — papaya, citrus, apricot — laced with vinegar and briny "gurkenwater" funk on the nose. The palate turns spicier than the fruit promises, oily and supple in the mouth. The recurring gripe is the age: at two years it drinks young, and a few tasters wish the 59% were better tucked in.

How does Worthy Park S.B.S Jamaica 2021 WPL-CJN (Bottled for the Netherlands) taste?

Young, fruity Worthy Park with briny funk Most call it a lovely fruit bomb held back by its youth — several wish it had 8-10 years to settle the hot, loosely integrated alcohol. Promising, not finished.

A very tasty Worthy Park. Citrus fruits are already recognizable on the nose. The same goes for the taste. I think you can recognize the apricots very well here. All in all, a solid Worthy Park. I like it very much.

I think this rum could have been left in the barrel for a few more years. Not bad per se, but not really convincing either. The alcohol should be better integrated, I find it too present or poorly integrated. Tastes like an unaged rum

Full tropical fruit power on the nose. Really great. On the palate, it continues to be much spicier, the influence of the short storage is clearly recognizable. Compared to many molasses WPs, I find it a lot smoother, which gives me hope for the future. I'm already looking forward to WPE/CJN in a few years' time - that could be something exciting

Tasted at the whisky rum aan zee festival 2023. Sugarcane juice Worthy Park. Very nice. Recognisable but also different.

A full fruit basket, Ester. Seems very young, actually like an unaged white. I would wish for longer storage.

I like this style of rum generally. I think paranubes is great in this gurkenwater style of fermenting. Unfortunately this one is quite too young. Alcohol integration keeps me from really enjoying it. I want this with 8-10 years please
