Rivière du Mât Single Cask 2003
Sip this one neat after dinner — it's light on its feet at 46% but leans woody and spiced. Tasters find baked apple, tobacco and cigar-box on the nose, then exotic fruit (papaya, mango, apricot) and caramel on a fresh, slightly minty palate. A 15-year molasses rum from Reunion that "changes from the usual agricole," as one French member put it. Dry, woody finish.

Aroma:Alcoholic-sweet, round with toffee.Aromas of chestnuts,tobacco, oranges and chocolate.Taste:Light, fresh and spicy with some caramel pudding in the mouth.Pleasant spicy-woody when swallowed Tastes like cake batter and licorice.Finish:Medium length, dry, woody and faintly bitter.Conclusion:Absolutely delicious and pleasant. Only the aftertaste is too dry and bitter for me.

01.11.2019 Den Dansk Rom & Whiskyfestival This was my first visit to this two day event, where everything is included in the ticket. Also the first event where I have seen so many extremely drunk people. This event usually just has what's considered mainstream products, but luckily my friend had the right contacts so for a premium we had our own little collection to go through. Today I get free a free ticket if I want to attend 😊 Price to quality is very good on this release. Medium fruity with nice floral notes. The palate is lightly dry and fruity with nice caramel. The finish is medium long and medium dry with wood and caramel.

Very green and vegetal rum. I find this rum very special but also very light .... It's a bit of a shame, I would be curious to taste the same one but in raw cask.
