05.01.2019 A very nice tasting event where 8 I met new local rum nerds. Notes. Light in colour. Nose: wood, roasted, dried fruit, chocolate, coffee, marzipan. Pamate: lightly oily, wood, roasted, spice, marzipan, caramel, sweet. Finish: medium to long, wood, medium dry, nutts, chocolate, dried fruit.

tasty but also somewhat unspectacular Nicaragua cask strength rum. typical notes of creamy cappuccino, pear, mango and roasted nuts, could be a little more complex overall but is really tasty and one of the few decent Nicaragua single casks.

Provato al Milano Whisky Festival & Rum Show 2025 Presenta un colore ramato chiaro. Al Naso: legno tostato, frutta secca, cioccolato....tanto cioccolato, caffè, zucchero di canna. Al palato:: leggermente oleoso, legno tostato, spezie, caramello, dolce. Finale: da medio a lungo, legno, mediamente secco, noci, cioccolato, frutta secca.

Read full review →It's punchy. It's certainly not a light Cuban style "ron". Maybe an almost Caroni like note to it -slightly industrial. Another positive addition to the Kill Devil range. If you want to try a Cuban rum stripped bare (rumour has it wine and vermouth is often added to the aguardientes)...
