Carrere Montebello Le Brut de fût 2019
Sip this one neat or over a single ice cube — it's a young Guadeloupe agricole that leans fresh and grassy, with cane juice, green pepper, honey and a bit of licorice. The cask strength shows: several tasters call the alcohol quite present. One reviewer even picked up sake and nougat, so it can turn a touch unusual, but the finish runs surprisingly long for three years.

Review by Stefan Persson
Overall a very well balanced Agricole that’s very fresh with great flavors and a long finish that’s remarkable taking its young age into consideration. This rum, a Brut de Fut from the Carrere Distillery in Guadeloupe is tropical aged for 3 years and 10 months in ex-Bourbon barrels before bottled at cask strength.

Fraîcheur, canne intense. Excellent
Review by Djehey
It made a bad impression on me during my first tasting. Much better on the second. The nose is not very expressive. On the palate, it's more intense: fresh cane with light oak and green pepper. Not bad :)

Very young, fresh, grassy Agricole.
