Nose Fresh, wood, light smoke, fruits, spice, floral, sugarcane, light earthy notes. Palate Wood, light smoke, fruits, floral, spice, light herbs and earthy notes. Finish Medium long, wood, dried fruit, light mint.

Top Agricole mit feinen, leichten, nicht überbordenden Agricole-Noten. Kommt gesetzter her, als das Alter vermuten lässt! Wenn man auf Agricole steht, ist diese Abfüllung in der Hausbar Pflicht.

For a VO, this rum has a lot to offer. On the nose, the watts are higher than on other classic vintages, with an assertive agricultural side to spices, oak and more vegetal notes. Sugar cane, coconut, banana and hazelnut bring balance to the olfactory force present. The result is full-bodied, contrasting yet highly expressive. The attack on the palate is driven by spices (vanilla, pepper, nutmeg) that pave the way for wood, tobacco and dried fruit. The earthiness and herbaceousness of agricultural rums is fairly discreet, and works well with the sugarcane and citrus notes. On the palate, a slight smokiness gently emerges. The alcohol is well integrated into this dry, intense profile. The long, drying finish returns to woody, spicy, tobacco and smoky notes. Dried fruit and sugarcane are not left out either. A very pleasant rum with excellent value for money. A brand to keep a close eye on for years to come.

Great Agricole but the herbal / grassy notes are only minimal. Intense spices (Allspice and more), wood and some sugars. A great example what kind of quality can be produced at this young age. I am looking forward for their bottlings 8-10 years of age.

Sehr leckerer Agricole, in der Nase riecht man schon die Haselnuss heraus. Im Geschmack zeichnet sich die Hasselnuss auch wieder aus. Zudem erkennt man auch Pfirsich und Banane. Fruchtig im Geschmack

No. 3 for today. Has a pleasant sugar cane and vanilla aroma on the nose. Then continues on the palate, with a nice vanilla and caramel flavor. Alcohol is well integrated. Good rum, but not top class.

8:On the nose , the first impression is fresh, elegant and complex. A pinch of pepper with the fresh cane juice, fruity with red fruits, indeed a very nice agricole, soon tinged with a tasty woodiness and some medicinal, roasted notes. With aeration, the woody entrusts only what is necessary to the cane, pairing in nice choreography, the rum becomes more roasted, caramelized, with burnt sugar, nutty, there are dried fruits and bourbon touch, grassy with some smoky resinous whiffs. 8,2:On the palate, it is a complex and tasty agricole. The sugar cane is juicy, soft, waxy, woody, with menthol, citrus and red, candied fruits, is resinous, with a hint of roasting and pleasant spiciness. We can notice some iodine later on, banana after well rested. 8:The finish is very, by the book, rhum agricole, fresh with candied lime peel, minty, pepper, woody, a bit dry, but very pleasant and round...

Auf der München Spirits am Stand von Spirit of Rum probiert. Spannender Agricole wenn auch irgendwie nicht ganz mein Geschmack. An der Nase braucht er definitiv sehr lange. Im Geschmack für mich klassisches Agricole Profil pflanzlich mit Trockenfrüchten und ein Zitrus/Vanille Touch. Sehr solide aber für mich hebt er sich jetzt nicht speziell von anderen Agricoles ab.

Goûté lors du RhumFest Paris 2025. Content d'avoir pu tester le premier VO de Baie des Trésors qui est une vraie réussite. Beaucoup de fraîcheur, de canne, de fruits avec un bois discret sur ce rhum que j'essaierai de goûter plus au calme mais qui mérite l'expérience.
