Honey and honeycomb lead the nose, richer here than in the unaged Vaval, backed by candied fruit and a whisper of cacao. Then the classic clairin side pushes back — green vegetables, tomato, grass. One member says the taste "changes like a carrousel," and that's the draw. Sweet but naturally so, cask-strength at 54.6%, and not for everyone.

Wonderful masterclass with Daniele Biondi. It was great to try to whole range. The story of Clairin and Haiti 🇭🇹 is absolutely amazing. It is a privilege to be able to try such a pure product at home. Francois fraire cask, cognac. Only one of that type of the cask shipped to Haiti. Spirit of vaval?

#4519 09.12.2023 Pretty nice release as well. Medium fruity with nice balance. The palate is warm and fresh with fruits. The finish is medium long and fresh with a light cherry note. The empty glass has a light flower note.
