Perola Bellamy‘s Reserve Oloroso Cask Finish (Batch 2)
Sipped neat it's an easy, soft pour — a Barbados backbone with a light Oloroso layer that brings almond, hazelnut and dried fig without ever taking over. Most drinkers land on "gentle and sweet," a couple say a touch too sweet, and one picks out cinnamon and a slightly artificial edge. There's a nice salty-nutty twist a few tasters loved. Light body, mild finish.

Oloroso finish bringt sehr schöne süß salzige aber nicht zu süße Nuss (Mandel & Haselnuss), und Trockenfeige Noten und eine feine Säure mit ein. Gefällt mir deutlich besser wie der 1. Batch! Ist auch nicht zu süß und der Rum wird nicht komplett vom Sherry dominiert.

Mir etwas zu süß. Ich finde Zimt dominiert ganz schön. Schmeckt nicht ganz typisch nach Oloroso Finish, eher etwas künstlich.

Da hab ich den ersten batch irgendwie besser in Erinnerung. Gefühlt noch ne Ecke süßer und dennoch weniger rund. Geht so ein wenig in Richtung Trauben-nuss Schokolade die mochte ich leider noch nie 😃
