Cadenhead‘s Sancti Spiritus CMA 1999

This is cask-strength Cuban column-still from an off-the-radar distillery, so expect a fairly light, round profile that some find flat and a couple find just plain hot and sour. Hauptsächlich Alkoholisch und sauer. leider ein Reinfall für mich. Wohl einer der bis dato schlimmsten Kuba single casks bis dato für mich, sorry aber das Ding macht mir persönlich einfach keinen Spaß...

בקבוק הוצאה מעניינת סך הכל אבל לא סוחפת. רום מתוק. דבשי. עם תפוחים ופירות עדינים יחסית. סוכר אבל לא תוספת סוכר. סך הכל אהבתי בשביל המחיר שלו מציג משהו קמת אחר מקובה.

28.11.2017 Meeting up at a friend's house each one bringing a bottle. Pretty surprised that there were 3 Cadenhead's in the pot. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, light roasted, grass, cherry, spice, citrus. Palate Intense, wood, roasted, lightly oily, berries, light floral, spice, light caramel. Finish Long and warm, wood, roasted, banana, spice, caramel, Extra note Needs to rest for a long while to settle down properly.
