Die Nase ist anfangs sehr tropisch fruchtig und wechselt nach einiger Zeit ins vanillig und kräftig Würzige. Etwas Holz kommt hinzu. Am Gaumen verteilt er sich cremig intensiv mit einem Hauch von Vanille, dann reichlich Piment, Lakritz, Salz und später Papaya, Der Abgang enthält Tee, Holz. Eine gute kräftige Abfüllung

Dankeschön an Venomino der seine Schätze aus dem Ausland mitgebracht hat und gesplitet hat. Langsam finde ich wieder so richtig gefallen an Clarendon. Wieder eine tolle Abfüllung aus dem 2002er Jahrgang.

#4204 This was a really nice surprise and I would have loved a bottle on my shelf. Unfortunately it's a very rare bottle today. Intense and fruity with very good balance between the elements and well integrated ABV. Fresh and dry palate and it draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass is nice and has some smoke and anise to it.

//update: rating confirmed, really like th dry finish Really fruity on bananas & tropical fruits. Dry finish, slight astringency. Well balanced alcohol, powerful without being too present. Really like it!

Kräftige Nase .... Pfirsich Papaya und Banane etwas Kandis und leichte Ester. Im Mund eher grüne Banane und etwas Orange etwas Vanille und Lakritz. Alles in allem ganz solide aber nicht so wirklich 100% meins

In der Nase schon recht süß, neben den tropischen Früchten und rostigen Aromen. Auch am Gaumen angenehm süß und fruchtig, dazu genau das richtige Maß an Holz. Sehr lecker, davon gerne eine ganze Flasche.

Der Alkohol ist gut eingebunden! Anfangs am Gaumen noch sehr verhalten, dann kommt er mit Vanille, Salzkaramell, Süße- nach und nach mehr Tee und deutlich adstringierend im Abgang. Mir zu trocken
