8,8:On the nose, glue, some polish, slightly dirty, rubber, overripe tropical fruits like banana and pineapple, roasted wood notes, caramelized, sweet with roasted nuts, pastry, spicy with allspice, vanilla, grassy, flowery, herbaceous molasses, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, various fruits arise like raisins, mango, cherry and citrus fruits, some candied, the barrel impact is noticable, perhaps we notice marshmallows. 8,5:On the palate, the attack is quite intense with medicinal notes like glue, polish, light esters and maybe camphor, quickly settling with banana, mango, cherry, pineapple and roasted/toasted wood notes like dark chocolate, caramelized, roasted almonds, hints of mocha, spicy with anise, vanilla.The molasses is candied, flowery, vegetal with root, earthy with tobacco. 8,7:The finish is long, dry&tannic, slightly metallic, with various fruits like banana, pineapple, mandarine, lime, cherry, mango, some candied, pairing slightly charred oak with chocolate, pastry, caramelized, spicy and herbaceous, earthy molasses. I didn't know what to expect from this series given the release price but this WP... wow!!! Super intense, a concentrate of flavors! Lots of caramelized and grilled fruit and a beautiful toasted barrel part that perfectly complements everything else! The first worthy park that really excites me!

Serie Cedro Velier Tasting: Ein 2005er WP mit diesem Geschmacksprofil - eine absolute Granate! In der Nase riecht man quasi ALLE tropischen Früchte und etwas Marshmallow. Im Gaumen dann zusätzlich Leder und Tabak, Anis und Mokka. Der Abgang ähnlich elegant.

Also a nice rum, very fruity on the nose and palate. We get a whole range of fruits, banana, nectarine, cherry, and mango. Also quite toasty, with dark chocolate and vanilla alongside some wood.

Also ich muss zugeben, das ich Worthy Park eine Distillery ist, die ich nicht unbedingt bevorzuge und mein Vergleichswissen ist hier eher gering, aber diese Abfüllung aus der Serie Cedro hat mir gut gefallen.

Durchaus komplex dank der erdig-würzigen Noten, die dem Fruchtspektrum einen stimmigen Gegenpol liefern. Etwas mehr Fett auf den Rippen täte dem Rum aber gut - trotz der angenehmen Vielschichtigkeit wirkt der Rum insgesamt etwas zu schlank, mehr Tiefe durch etwas schwerere Noten, die bei anderen tropisch gelagerten Worthy Park Profilen häufig anzutreffen sind, wären auch hier ein sehr interessantes Additum zum Profil gewesen. Der Rum bleibt dennoch ein sehr gutes Release.

Seems like a good cognac with tropical influences. The wood influx is the main trait of this rum, a noble wood that accompanies the caramelized tropical fruit, overripe ananas and banana. A nice Worthy Park.
