MHOBA Pot Stilled White Rum 2019
Most tasters land in the "clean and light" camp, though a couple wish it hit harder. It's a cane-juice white from South Africa's MHOBA: fresh grass and sugarcane up front, a little glue and banana ester, then a naturally sweet, herbal palate one reviewer put "close to an agricole style." Light body, but there's real character in it — pear-drop and cherry on the finish.

Very tasty. Low volume hardly detracts from the taste.

Despite the few percentages, the power and intensity are amazing.

Sampled 23-06-2024 Nosing A heavy grass hit starts then moves into a sweetened cherry Tasting This is delightful pot still taste , starts with a lush apple note , slight molasses note but very clean and clear ... Close to an agricole style run .. The finish is like a pear drop sweet Delicious stuff
