Needs quite some time to breath. Once opened up, the nose is pretty well balanced gravitating towards tropical fruits and a hint of honey-sweetness alongside herbal notes. Very nice on the palate with some sweetness and tropical fruits again presenting an oily texture.

Etwas Alkoholisch in der Nase dennoch mit schönen Fruchtkorb . Etwas Nagellack und Anis ... Annas Banane und Honig. Am Gaumen... Wärmendes Mundgefühl... Pfirsich Banane und Melone schnell kommen Bitternoten fast wie eine Bierwürze ... mmh sehr Interessant. Alkohol könnte besseres eingebunden sein.

Erst einmal vielen Dank an venomino der diese selte Abfüllung geteilt hat. Zum Rum selber ist zu sagen, dass er schon einige Zeit Ruhe im Glas braucht, bis er zugänglicher wird. So ganz kann er mich aber denoch überzeugen, da der Alkohol m.E. nicht wirklich gut eingebunden ist.

Strong Clarendon. Otherwise the bitterness predominates, but here everything is quite balanced. Nevertheless, of course, the usual dry tobacco notes. Compared with RX16692 Cadenhead 2010 Clarendon. This one stomps it into the ground. Nice, unique bottling.

This is a strong Clarendon that needs its time in the glass. Even after ¾ of an hour, the alcohol is still clearly perceptible. But the spice (licorice, salt, allspice) and dark fruit are very present and clear. No Light sipper but great

#4203 Another local one from Singapore and this one (45-60 mins) is also pretty well balanced. Needs to rest as well before all flavours are there. Intense, fresh and fruity wit a bit of funk. The palate is warm and oily with less fruit than the nose suggests, but overall pretty good balance. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some tea and workshop notes.

Einmal noch Jamaika bevor es 2x Guyana gibt. Finde diesen Clarendon sehr gut. Klar haben wir tropische Früchtebund etwas Ester, aber auch etwas Holz und Lack. Außerdem sehr intensiv und warm im Geschmack. Gefällt mir.

An der Nase sehr verschlossen, ist der erste kleine Schluck sehr vielversprechend, adstringend und deutet eine dichte Aromenfülle an, die viele tropische Früchte mit sich trägt. Die Versprechung verfliegt schnell und aus der funky Adstringenz wird schnell ein starker Alkohol, der sich bis zum Abgang zieht. Auf dem Weg dorthin wird der Rum würziger. Vielen Dank @Venomino

Pretty wild, young Clarendon that needs some water to tame. Once opened up a nice fruity/zesty profile develops. Yummy! //update: rating confirmed, but definitely needs water to shine and bring the abv down, otherwise it is a bit too rough

Braucht Zeit im Glas, damit der Alkohol nicht mehr überpräsent ist. Relativ trocken, fruchtige Noten, leicht bitter (vor allem im Abgang), Tabaknote, Holz, etwas Menthol. Ist keine schlechte Abfüllung, aber hat mich auch nicht überzeugt.

Wow, it's really special, but I really like it! Lots of power (although the alcohol is not badly integrated), lots of menthol, wood, yellow fruits, some salted caramel. At the beginning I had similarities to the Velier MM84, but then in the finish it seems younger.

Very wild Clarendon! A few drops of water are definitely necessary here to "open" the rum... Slightly sour and bitter after lime, roasted sesame, honey-bananas and young wood with a slight salt note. I like it surprisingly well, as I'm not normally a Clarendon fan, but overall it's still very wild and young and you definitely have to be in the mood for it.

That’s a tough one, I really like the nose with anise, vanilla banana and some other tropic fruits. Palate and finish are also nice (with water) but it still feels kind of young and sharp and can’t really live up to the initial expectations. Nevertheless, it was a nice drop. Thanks for sharing Venomino.
