I will add a rating with points when the samples of the split are distributed. Personally, it lacks a bit of maturity. Otherwise quite nice, unfortunately nothing more. But I think as a mixer it can do a bit more than pure.

#6192 04.01.2025 Relaxing with this pretty OK rum in front of the TV. Nose Medium intense, light wood, fruity, overripe, ester, light polish, citrus, faint coconut, banana. Palate Fresh, medium intense, oily, light wood, fruity, overripe, ester, light varnish, faint salt, light coconut, earthy. Finish Long and warm, oily, light wood, faint smoke, ester, light varnish, citrus. Empty glass Citrus, light nail polish, light sour, faint coconut, light chocolate.

Young and dynamic is probably the best way to describe it... this bottling could have done with a little more aging... I quite like the nose... a nice mixture of esters and fruit, although this sweet lychee/cherry note is new to me in STC❤️E. Smells a little artificial. The palate is not very complex, but this is due to the poorly integrated alcohol. Despite a long aging period, it is too dominant. Basically, however, the STC❤️E markers are recognizable. The finish is unspectacular.

Also da fehlt noch etwas Reife … leider nicht sehr gelungen. An der Nase zeigt sich der STCE noch am ehesten, hat mich dann aber am Gaumen eher enttäuscht. Sehr scharfkantig und beißend.

Good drop. Be sure to let it breathe for 15-20 minutes. The alcohol should be better integrated. Still just "very good" because simply delicious.

Gefällt mir eigentlich recht gut. Klar, ein bisschen jung und wild, aber STCE ist einfach ein schönes Mark.

The rum needs a lot of time, and even then the alcohol is very poorly integrated. Especially at the beginning, there are many spirity notes. It gets a little better with time, but even then the STCE notes come through best on the nose. On the palate, it remains weak and alcohol-heavy. But with more sweetness.
