Surprisingly good, fruity & funky with industrial notes and many olives. The PX is not too present which I like, leaves room for the distillate to show it’s character. Not too wild and well integrated, even though it is rather young. Needs some water to tame the alcohol.

Aging after port wine gives this sample a sweet ( maybe too much) start and a beautiful roundness. Perfectly integrated alcohol where I would definitely not type ABV. I was intrigued by the density ( meaning viscosity) of this sample. I haven't had such a "thick" rum in a long time. Unfortunately it was more interesting than overwhelmingly good.

The sherry was really annoying, it didn't taste like rum, it tasted like sherry.

An excessively sweet note that ruins every positive note this rum does have. The nose is pretty funny but gives alread an hint of the mouth excessive sweet. I've a feeling of sugar/caramel that reminds me of certain brands I don't like and that ruins my drinking experience
