A Single Cask from Depaz that's more gourmet than agricultural. The nose is rich with dried fruit and candied orange, spicy wood, tobacco and chocolate notes. The attack on the palate is just as round and balanced. Fruit mingles with spices, walnuts and sweet caramel notes, rounding out the finish with delicate oak and a hint of sugarcane in the background. The finish lingers on tannic, woody, toasty and spicy notes that add extra character. A full-bodied, masterful Depaz that would have deserved a few more degrees to be truly perfect.

Reichlich Pfeffer. Schöner, wärmender Abgang. Sehr guter, ausgeprägter Depaz. Hohe Qualität mit jugendlichen Touch.

A crisp grape and plum nose. Beautifully round on the palate, extremely mild Depaz.
Review by Michal Jurka
The nose is abolute p.o.r.n. for me, very fruity, red apple juice, sweet citruses, candied fruit accompanied by nice dose of wood and spices. I also get a hint of gummy bears. It all translates well into a taste, but with a stronger dried fruit and roasted notes with decent peppery ending. While the nose seems to me more juicy, the taste is drier. Perfect balance. Depaz has yet to dissapoint me... I am beginning to believe it will never happen.

Ročník 2011, plněno z jednoho sudu. S 8,5 z 10 patří k tomu lepšímu, co se mi dostalo do skleničky.
