Georg Bestle Blended Jamaica Rhum
One for collectors chasing old Jamaican curiosities, not for anyone hoping to actually enjoy a pour. At 80% this is mostly raw alcohol with a whisper of vanilla and woody glue behind it — several tasters flag an off-note that reads like cheese or old feet on the finish. Water pulls out a little fruit, but there's not much underneath. Most just wanted to say they'd tried it.

How does Georg Bestle Blended Jamaica Rhum taste?
Aggregated from 10 community reviews.
Harsh 80% curiosity, more alcohol than rum Verdict is near-unanimous: harsh neutral alcohol with a nasty off-note and little rum character. One member sums it up — "not much going on taste wise." A curiosity, not a drinker.

A rum from the "Niki's und Arturs Jamaiksnische Aventurien Teil 2" series. Lots of alcohol on the nose, wood glue, sawdust. Nothing subtle here. The alcohol attacks hard on the palate and dominates almost everything. The finish is short and leaves a footy smell. With a little water, everything improves, and fruit notes even appear.

There is still some vamille in the nose, but the off-note is already hidden behind it, which becomes apparent later. Tastes extremely like cheese feet. That's the only reason to give it a few points at all. Every rum drinker should try it :)

Smells like an old bum buying cheap booze with trembling hands in front of you in the supermarket. Strong alcohol and urine smell. Then a few chemical notes in the taste. Probably intended as a baking ingredient. A terrible rum to drink.
