Distilia Caroni Lion’s Whisky (10th Anniversary Edition) Heavy Trinidad Rum 1998
One member swears there's Haribo cola bottles in the glass, and once you spot that sweet-cola note next to the tar, you can't unsee it. This is a Caroni that leans elegant for the style: petrol, roasted wood and burnt sugar are all there, but reined in, with honey, orange peel and tropical fruit softening the dirt. Long, dry, tannic finish, and the 61.6% sits well integrated.

Very tasty but also tame caroni. Has something of Haribo cola bottles with smoked sandalwood, some tropical fruits and gasoline. Overall, however, very light and elegant
