Chairman‘s Reserve Master‘s Selection (5. Rum & Co) 2006
Wood, roasted notes and dark dried fruit lead here, with chocolate, prunes and a faint acetone edge underneath. This is a 16-year Coffey-column St. Lucia at cask strength, and the port finish divides people: some love the raisiny "spanische Leder" dryness, others find the tannins and nutty muffiness too dominant and the alcohol not fully tucked in. A rich, drying sipper with real complexity.

How does Chairman‘s Reserve Master‘s Selection (5. Rum & Co) 2006 taste?
Aggregated from 27 community reviews.
Rich, drying port-finished St. Lucia sipper Well-liked rich sipper — roasted wood, prunes, chocolate. Several find the port finish too dominant and drying, and the high ABV a touch hot. Better neat, slowly.

The port finish is already very cool!
Review by Tim

Review by crazyforgoodbooze
