Most tasters land in the same warm spot on this one: cocoa, vanilla, caramel and dried fruit with a dry oak backbone that keeps the sweetness in check. 24.02.2024 Great tasting event at Whisky Watcher with food and lots of bottles. Retasting and I stick to the score. ----------------------- #4070 Another really nice release. Nice and fruity with nice spices complemented by fruit and lovely caramel notes.

The third tasting of the night at Whisky Watcher the 24th of February 2024, with nice company. Powerful in the taste, but a very well integrated alcohol. I got dried fruit and plum in the nose, and dried fruits, vanilla and chocolate in the notes

An sich ist dies ein klassischer Belize-Rum mit seiner deutlichen Kokos-Vanille-Kakao-Rosinen-Kombination. Jedoch kommt hier noch ein intensives, aber zu keinem Zeitpunkt überforderndes Eichenfass ins Spiel, was ihm einen merklichen Reifegrad verleiht. Trotz des hohen Alkoholgehalts sind hier keine Wasserspiele zum Genuss dieses feinen Tropfens nötig.

Eher ungewöhnlicher Belize. Sehr komplex und vielseitig. Im ganzen ist dieser mir etwas zu holzig. Dafür kommen einige Aromen zum Vorschein mit einem sehr lagen Abgang, was mir wiederum sehr gut gefällt.
