Un rhum embouteillé dans les années 40 par la marque Cointreau. Merci Artur pour le sample. Un nez qui ne rappelle un peu la Jamaïque avec des esters maîtrisés et un côté banane trop mûre. Mais d’un autre côté pas du tout jamaïcain avec du végétal, des herbes sèches et des fruits jaunes. Et même un côté mélasse avec de la douceur guyanaise. Un rhum de l’île de la Réunion ? La bouche est un peu diluée, acqueuse, mais les arômes montent et finissent par remplir la cavité buccale. Du bois jeune, de la douceur, des fruits. Je ne sens pas la banane trop mûre et le côté agricole est clair. Du café amer prolonge le plaisir. Un excellent rhum, meme si l’entrée de bouche est son point faible.
