Romdeluxe Travellers Wild Series Rum Origin No. 1 Belize Draw 1 2022
Drinks surprisingly smooth for 60%, whether you sip it neat or drop it into a mixer. The nose leans herbal and grassy, with a sharp disinfectant-solvent edge a couple of tasters flag up front. On the palate it settles into herbs, coconut, chocolate and tropical fruit — classic Belize character, though a few felt that came through faint. This is the first draw, so it reads softer and more closed than the later ones.

Herbal, smooth Belize with a solvent edge Most find it smooth and floral with herbal notes, decent neat but better mixed. The solvent nose and strong alcohol split people — one taster called it a total miss.

Wow, this was a huge surprise. A really neat mixer rum that can easily be sipped pure. This is the first draw after the head so very smooth in nose and on the palate. Nice warm/spicy with fruits and nice herbal notes. This one would definitely be a really good rum for mixers. Draws really nice curtains in the glass.

Die Nase verspricht noch etwas Belize Charakter aber geschmacklich für mich leider ein absoluter Reinfall. Schmeckt wie flüssiges Benzin oder Lackfarbe...

Very interesting to compare the two draws side by side. Last draw is much more fibriant with lots of fruit notes. First draw is much more closed up with some sweet notes and creamy mouth feel.
Review by SaibotZtar
Very floral ... the typical Belize character (coconut, chocolate dark fruits) rather less to feel.

I find this rum to be decent to drink neat, but probably better in a mixer. It is smooth despite 60% ABV and compared to draw 5. In the nose I find it fruity, and I got notes of chocolate, coconut and a floral feel
