Trois Rivières Triple Millésime 2005-2010-2015
Agricole drinkers who lean toward the woody, spice-forward end will get the most out of this Trois Rivières blend of three vintages. Expect cinnamon, black pepper, ginger, dried fruit and toasted oak over a fine sugar-cane base — round and dry rather than lively. Several tasters found the finish a touch bitter and short, and one felt it was simply too spicy.
The community says- Warm agricole spice
- Round wood-and-nut body
- But: Short bitter finish

Dry, spice-and-oak-forward agricole sipper A well-made, cask-driven agricole most tasters rate highly, but it reads dry and heavily spiced, and a few feel the finish leaves you wanting more.

#6921 16.06.2026 Bike training is over and time for a few samples while watching the new Young Sherlock Holmes on Amazon Prime. When looking at the price tag you get a lot for your money in my mind. Nice and fruity with some floral, grassy, spice and nice roasted wood notes.

The fifth batch in the Triple Millésime range, this Trois Rivières continues the lineage with a soft, delicate nose of candied and dried fruit, with generous sugar cane and fine oak. Spices, notably cinnamon, stand out alongside tobacco, brown sugar and a touch of cognac. A warm, agricultural profile. The attack on the palate is balanced. There's a flurry of spices, with strong, lightly toasted oak, nuts and dried fruit accompanying sugarcane and herbs on the palate. A round, multi-faceted profile that lacks a little vivacity. The finish is more marked by spices, here dominated by pepper, ginger and chili. Citrus fruits appear alongside dried fruits and nuts, with a touch of leather and a lighter woodiness. A smooth but well-crafted rum, a brut de fût version of which could yield something astonishing. It's worth noting that while the value for money is very good, previous editions were of similar quality for a lower price than they are now.

Very tasty and round, typical of the classic 3 rivière, but with a finish that leaves you wanting more. To sum up, my tasting notes: Nose: Walnut, Cinnamon, Dried fruit On the palate: Dried fruit, Woody, Toasted, Rounded Finish: Dried fruit, Peppery, Rounded

Another very good "triple vintage", even if I prefer the 2001-2005-2011. On the nose: "agricultural" and woody notes. On the palate: the wood is present, as are the spices, a little "peppery". Quite dry, in the style of a double-distilled spirit. Finish: fairly good length, dry.
