Die Nase ist einladend frisch, fruchtig mit der typischen Agricolenote. Der Geschmack ist eher durch pflanzliche und pfeffrige Noten geprägt aber dennoch mild. Der Alkohol ist gut eingebunden. Der Abgang ist lang, pfeffrig, grasig mit etwas Bleistiftspähne im Hintergrund. Die Bleistiftspähne ist nur für einen kurzen Moment zu spüren. Als Ti-Punch macht sich der Pfeffer sehr bemerkbar , gefolgt von grasigen Noten. Dieser Rhum/Ti-Punch ist eher trocken. Kann auch gut pur getrunken werden.

L'authentique is made in the pure tradition by the small family distillery La Favorite. They use an old steam engine to crush the cane. The fermentation is long and natural and for distillation they use a small Creole column. This is a rum that works well both neat and in a Ti’Punch. The nose is soft, mellow, spicy, sweet, fruity and floral with aromas of citrus, sugarcane, pepper and mineral. At the palate it’s well-balanced, fruity and bitter with flavors of pepper, cane juice and lime zest. The finish is medium long with the flavors from the palate remaining together with a taste of olives.

Urlaub Karibik September 2026. Den haben wir im Supermarkt gekauft auf Martinique. Ist natürlich für nie Rumtrinker eine gute Herausforderung so ein ungelagerter Agricole. Ja ist sehr pflanzlich, entweder man liebt ihn oder man hasst ihn.

#5581 22.08.2025 Relaxing with a set of samples while listening to some new Trance tracks. Nose Fresh, citrus, sugarcane, light floral, faint smoke, fruity. Palate Fresh, round, light oily, sugarcane, citrus, flora, medium dry, medium spicy, light olive. Finish Medium long, fresh, round, citrus, light olive, light sugarcane. Empty glass Olive, citrus, light floral, faint anise.

Assaggiato in sample. È un esplosione di canna da zucchero e olive in salamoia. Rum dai sentori freschi, verdi, erbacei con una buona speziatura che ricorda il pepe. Un buonissimo rum in perfetto stile agricolo.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix, la canne est dominante, c'est très végétal, ensuite le poivré fait son apparition et reste bien présent pendant toute la degustation, en finale il reste une fraîcheur très agréable avec la canne, le poivre et le zeste de citron.
