Spirits Museum Tasting 29th of March 2025. Un nez de Demerara, avec du vieux bois verni, du crayon mâchouillé (graphite) et quelques fruits secs. L’entrée de bouche est puissante avec du bois dans tous ses états, bois mouillé, vieux fût de chêne et bois de cèdre. Quelques fruits secs comme du pruneau et des fruits jaunes, du graphite. La finale est longue, très boisée et elle développe une belle amertume. Un rhum assez fascinant même s’il est un peu monolithique.

Great Uitvlugt - Port Mourant. Pencils, wet wood, subtle pepper, balanced overall profile. Very good representative of the Double Wooden Pot Still style, also a very good representative for the vintage.
