Chairman‘s Reserve Master’s Selection (Cigar Shops) 2010
Poured neat, this is a sipping rum through and through — a single John Dore pot still St. Lucia at 59% that reads warmer than its ABV suggests. Expect roasted wood, pineapple, tobacco smoke and a clear vein of sweetness, with leather and vanilla underneath. Several tasters call it a touch too sweet and note it lacks the depth of other Chairman's bottlings, but it drinks easy and long.

- Long smoky finish
- A bit too sweet

Review by Rene Pfeiffer
Compared to other Chairman's rather of the light variety. But very pleasant. Only slightly bitter and sweetish at the same time.
Review by Buddudharma
Nice chairman with pronounced sweetness, but lacks some complexity. Still a great sipper...

Bit alcohol balanced, but still very enjoyable rum. Sweetness is the most powerful note, some details are missing.

A little too sweet for me. Nevertheless ok.
Review by Johannes
Rather on the fruity side, but somewhat flat compared to other chairman's. A discreet smoky note on the finish.
Review by Alex Kunath
The sweetness and the slight bitter swing back and forth. I like!
Review by Jakob
Comparatively balanced and relaxed drinking overall profile that sets the typical stimulus points with tropical fruits, tea and spices, but remains very harmonious.
