02.11.2024 retasting at a Romdeluxe event. -------------- #4529 16.12.2023 Here you get what you pay for or maybe even a bit less. The roasted note is pretty strong even after resting for a good while. Medium fruity with some chocolate and the the roasted wood notes. The palate is lightly dry with and slightly out of balance/rough edges. The finish is medium long and has some dried fruit to it. The empty glass has a light orange note.

Rather unround, too toasty for my taste. The classic Foursquare profile plays up here rather restrained, even if it is of course recognizable. Does not convince me, even if undoubtedly good quality is in the glass.

A classic foursquare whose only defect is a slight lack of integration of alcohol. A good barbados with no surprises.
