Here's the surprise: this is a Jamaican with real funk, but it drinks sweet. Banana, pineapple and passion fruit up front, a whiff of glue and acetone underneath, then a syrupy, slightly oily body. One taster called it "too sweet, but still enjoyable." A few noted the alcohol isn't fully knit in, though the fruity, glue-laced finish wins people back.

Vorletzter Rum für heute. Hier der T. Sonthi Jamaica. Jedenfalls mehr Jamaica wie der von Haff Rum. Schöne tropische Früchte wie Banane und Ananas in der Nase, am Gaumen ebenfalls tropische Früchte, allerdings leider einen Tacken zu süß.

Un nez jamaïcain intéressant avec du funky et de la banane sur mûre, un léger acétone. La bouche n’est pas équilibrée, l’alcool n’est pas très bien intégré. D’abord du bois et de la colle puis les fruits arrivent. La finale est belle avec de la colle à bois et beaucoup de fruits. Un très bon rapport qualité/prix, dommage que la première bouche soit un peu désordonnée.

From nose alone you can tell it is fruity Jamaican rum with sugar added. Tropical fruits, some funk, banana, pineapple, with a bit of chemical smell. Taste is pretty similar, but stronger. Chemical part goes to glue and esters. It is sweet and I think is too sweet, but still enjoyable. On finish fruits turn to candied fruits Nice sweet rum with Jamaican characteristic

Sehr ergiebiger Rum. Manchmal reichen mir wenige ml für 1 Std. Vergnügen. Erst minutenlang inhalieren, dann, als Höhepunkt (Honi soit qui mal y pense!) ein paar Tröpfchen schlucken.

Ein kräftiger fruchtiger Geruch mit etwas Süße und Klebstoff. Der Geschmack ist recht süß, ölig mit Anklängen von Port.
