For the price, in my opinion, it's a good and well-balanced entry into the world of rum if someone is drawn to the flavor profile of dark chocolate and coffee.

The aroma and taste are dominated by coffee and cocoa, reminiscent of mocha macchiato or coffee liqueur beans with dark chocolate. Coffee and cocoa also remain in the finish, which is medium to long.

Beim Öffnen der Flasche hat man schon einen Geruch von Kaffee in der Nase. Wenn man tiefer ins Glas geht riecht man auch leichte Holz sowie Karamell und Vanillie Noten. Der Geschmack ist auch stark von Kaffe geprägt und ähnelt dem Geruch. Der Abgang ist mir persönlich leider zu stark alkoholisch und brennig. Der Black Tear ist aber generell sehr Flach und eintönig. Der starke alkoholische Geschmack hindert mich etwas am Pur Trinken.
