Underneath sits cut grass, sugarcane, lemon and a real pear-brandy note (several tasters name Williams pear), plus hazelnut and a briny, mineral streak. A few catch metallic or glue hints, and it needs 15 minutes in the glass to open. Fresh, floral, faintly salty white agricole that sips as happily as it mixes.

A fine unaged Agricole with a very well-integrated alcohol level. Herbal, plant-like notes balance out with fruity hints of lemon, pear, and rhubarb. There are also juicy sugarcane notes reminiscent of fresh-cut grass, a delicate nuttiness, and a few spices. Not just good for mixing, but really tasty neat too.

Retasting this one today and I stick to my initial score. Typical Agricole with fruits, floral and fresh grass notes. You gat all the flavours as soon as you open the bottle. Leave for 15 minutes and then nose it. Leave the glass for a few hours after finishing it and it's even better on the nose. Price to quality is extremely good.

Have some few favorits (Savanna, Bellevue and most Haiti) We are not fans of this one. Sorry for the low rating, but we really don’t like it. Nice to be challenged and to try something different

Excellent white very mineral. On the nose you seem to taste the sea. It didn't blow me away as much as clairin, but it remains a great white made by Villa and Gargano.

Wow This is really a great rhum blanc!! 🤤 Typical agricole with nice notes of hazelnut, lemon and pears (Reminds me on those classic william pears 🤔) The 56% are notable, but not overwhelming (still watered down) The finish is quite long and leaves behind all those wonderfull notes starting from sugarcane to hazelnut and ending with fresh lemons and pears.

mega wacky flavor profile. floral and fruity and at the same time salty sweet and sour. some fermented papaya, Williams pear brandy, hazelnut and metallic notes. very getting used to but also really good!

One of my absolute favorites among restocked agricoles. Whether in Ti Punch, other cocktails or straight, always a pleasure. Alcohol is very well integrated here. You should always have a few bottles in stock.

Ein Rum der mich nicht wirklich vom Hocker haut, meines Erachtens ziemlich austauschbar. Nichts das ich jetzt unbedingt in der Sammlung haben müsste. Aber für den Preis für den er zu haben ist völlig in Ordnung und als Mixer bestimmt gut geeignet.

Another very good Agricole Blanc with a pleasant fruity sweetness, lots of vegetal freshness and a decent drinking strength. The alcohol is well integrated. It also comes across well in the TiPunch, although not as intensely as in a Brut de Colonne

A nose of apple alcohol, herbaceous and with a hint of citrus (lemon). The palate is very smooth, with refined, sweet aromas dominated by yellow fruit. The finish is long and refined. The empty glass is expressive on yellow fruit and sweet herbs. A rum that's not exactly complex but refined, and the alcohol is extremely well integrated.

Very good unaged rum.The nose very grassy, fruity with an impact in the direction of Obstler. On the palate, I particularly notice a salty note. Interesting, in the aftertaste it changes again into the sweetness!This rhum is a phenomenal starting product for mixed drinks!

Ein wirklich netter, ungelagerter Agricole. Man bekommt das was man erwartet,bund zwar die volle Dröhnung an Pflanzlichkeit. Ist natürlich auch sehr frisch, floral und auch grasig. Zuckerrohr ist auch erkennbar.

I have had not many white Agricoles, but this one is delicious. Interestingly I did not feel the alcohol, it is really good integrated... And it makes a good Ti Punch as well!

As a fan of Bielle rums, I was keen to try this one following the many positive comments. It's a good white rum, with the classic fresh cane and vegetal notes. The nose is fruitier than the palate, with green pepper, lemon zest and metallic notes. Good, but not quite up to its price...

In der Nase einem Birnenbrand sehr ähnlich mit einer schönen Zuckerrohrnote. Am Gaumen wird dieses bestätigt mit dezenter kräutiger Note, leichter Limette. Für einen ungelagerten Agricole ordentlich komplex. Allohol für das ABV sehr ordentlich eingebunden mit leichter Schärfe. Perfekt

Rhum rhum in a nutshell, the PMG 56°. This is a recenti batch, but overall quality stays high. Marine notes accompanied by (powder) sugar, the same you find in the aged ones, prevails on the nose along with floral and herbal traits. The palate is consistent with the nose and adds some peppery notes

Agricole Meeting und Tasting mit Kevin in Blåvand, Dänemark Wow, DAS ist mal ein Preis-Leistungs-Knaller! Der Rum braucht Zeit im Glas um sich zu entwickeln. Dann wird man an der Nase mit Zuckerrohr und Agricole Noten belohnt. Zu Früchten kommt ein starkes Birnenaroma, das fast an Williams Christ erinnert. Dazu Klebstoff und Lösungsmittel - fast wie Clairin Sajous, eher ein Chelo als ein Casimir. Sehr lecker, muss der Knaller im Ti Punch sein

Assaggiato a distanza di tempo e batch diversi, al naso e palato uguale al precedente, molto agrumato e fruttato. Equilibrato e con alcol ben integrato. Lo reputo abbastanza fresco ed estivo e molto differente dai prodotti invecchiati, anzi andrebbero scissi in due categorie diverse a mio modesto parere. Finale medio e non eccessivamente lungo ma piacevole. (PS: la votazione, come le impressioni, sono prettamente personali).

Nose: The distinct scent of fresh hazelnut, which opens the bouquet, can be perceived from a considerable distance, an indication of the rum's excellent intensity. This is followed, in the background, by notes of cut grass, as one would expect from in agricultural, earthy, with a hint of acetone, as if to remind one of the nature of distillate. With oxygenation, the rum opens up to fruity hints, such as Pineapple and unripe banana.Mouth: at first sip, the sensation is enveloping, the warmth released is well balanced, In the mouth it comes across as the right mix of acidity and savoriness. Fresh hazelnut reconfirms itself as the predominant note.

Très bon rhum mais il ne me fais pas baver .... Nez: citron ,poire et floral. On ne sent pas l'alcool. Bouche : si vous prenez une bonne gorgé et que vous faites bien couler sur la langue vous avez une explosion de poivre presque intense , avec ça y a du citron généreux ,de la poire plus discrète,très très légèrement du solvant. On ne sent pas l'alcool. En final , principalement du citron avec un peu de poivre et un peu de poire. Verre vide , principalement citron et très légèrement de la poire. Conclusion, à repasser dessus pour se refaire un avis. ( Ça a pas aidé... Premier rhum citron que je goûte et juste avant j'ai goûté'' orage vodka citron de syracuse ''de ferroni....bien joué....)

My RumRating Review 3y ago: The Agricole is not severe or unpleasant in the nose. Fresh floral grass notes with lemon are perceptible. Also light glue and a fine spice. If the Rhum gets time to breathe, it also becomes less snapy. On the palate, the rhum is pleasantly sweet with a clear spicy note. Balanced and floral, the rhum is surprisingly complex with a little salt and pepper. The finish is then a bit short but pleasantly dry and balanced. An amazingly good white rhum, which shows all the art of making a great distillate. Absolutely recommended.

Ein wunderbarer weißer Rum und Vertreter des Agricole Stils. Floral, fruchtig, süß, etwas leicht mineralisches, leichtes Salz. Wunderbar! Sowohl Solo als auch im bereits zubereiteten Ti Punch ein Gedicht. Ich hoffe diese Abfüllung bleibt noch lange verfügbar. Wird ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil in meiner Hausbar.

Great nose. Really nice in cocktails. Neat I get a lot of metallic flavours and a bit sulphur, still enjoyable though. With time mellows down in a good, rounder direction.

On the nose vegetal, floral, garlicky, ripe and citrus. On the palate earthy, dull, roasted hazelnut, lemon, pepper, ripe pear and savory as well as spicy on a warm, lingering, unrounded finish. Good for a ti punch

Un prodotto nato da un sogno, ottimo agricolo con note fresche e vegetali accompagnate da fiori e frutti tropicali. Il consiglio che mi ha dato il produttore e di bere questo ottimo prodotto con un cubetto di ghiaccio e una scorza di lime. Una magia.

After all that amber, a little white... I didn't hold back in view of the name and the love affair with rhum rhum libération... I wanted to discover the pure, unadulterated nectar.... An incredible floral, sugarcane nose.... A little licorice and pepper... Incredible for 56°, very pleasant... It invites you to taste it... Let's go... Yippee, the markers of amber rum are there! Strong but light. A pleasure. To get there, you have to face up to the power of alcohol and lastringence. But it's almost a kif! A finish worthy of its degrees... Long, candy cane and astringency... A pleasure... In moderation.

Fruit and sugarcane juice jump out of the glass on the nose. Lots of lemons and pears and a subtle hint of freshly cut herbs. Less fruit on the palate. The sugarcane juice has taken over, mixed with wild flowers and hazelnuts. The finish is mid in length and a touch metallic and dry but not unpleasant. Overall its a great white rum to sit back and sip neat. Really good stuff.

Rhum de bonne typicité. Très bon équilibre au nez et en bouche, avec un alcool bien intégré. Au niveau aromatique, la canne à sucre, le végétal (herbe sèche), le poivre, le citron vert sont les arômes qui caractérisent ce rhum.

Interessante. I sentori sono quelli tipici di un agricolo da puro succo di canna da zucchero di qualità. Alcol abbastanza ben integrato ma comunque resta quella "vivacità agricola". Finale lungo oltre l'aspettativa.

Interesting. A restrained version of cane juice rum with fresh grass, brininess like olives, lemon, watermelon rind in the aroma. Pleasant sweetness on the palate. Heat is evident in finish but not overwhelming.
