Most tasters land in the same happy place: a classic Savanna Grand Arôme nose of solvent, olive and a fruit basket of strawberry, cherry and banana, with salted-butter caramel underneath. At 57.6% the alcohol sits surprisingly well integrated. A couple of reviewers note it reads a touch simple — one called it "un peu mono arôme" — and a little dilute on the palate, but the long spiced finish wins most people over.

The first colorful "unshared cask" from Savanna with a colorful label and not with the well-known black and white pictures with a gold rim. In the meantime, they are also colorful again and, in my opinion, quite involuntarily chosen. This one has a super integrated alcohol and a fruit basket par excellence ala Grand Arome. Great stuff, the price is and always has been very juicy!

This is not a cheap bottle but it's a very good one none the less. Nice balance between the fruit and spices and I like the smoky palate on the palate and in the empty glass. The ABV is really well integrated. Draws really nice curtains in the glass.

Schöne Balance aus tropischen Früchten und Gewürzen. Außerdem noch die typische Erdbeernote und Juicy-Fruit-Kaugummi. Alkohol ist top integriert. Der macht Spaß und hat auch einen angenehmen langen Abgang.

Des arômes lourds et terreux au nez avec de la banane, des fruits jaunes et du caramel au beurre salé. En bouche, les arômes sont un peu dilués. On sent bien le caramel au beurre salé et les fruits tropicaux, mais il manque un peu de complexité et de finesse. La finale est plutôt longue sur le caramel au beurre salé, la banane et les fruits jaunes. Un rhum goût en parallèle avec le RX10630 et il est beaucoup moins aérien, les saveurs sont ici plus terre à terre.

The nose is typical of a great Savanna aroma: fruity, woody, but above all solvent, smoky and olive, and always olive. On the palate, it's explosive but perfectly balanced. Exotic fruit, chocolate, wood and a lovely olive tapenade are all on the menu. The finish is long, very long on spices. Clove and cinnamon bring this tasting to a surprising close. A great aroma, just the way we like it. A rum that leaves a lasting impression! The packaging, featuring the Belgian flag, is a real beauty!

Goûté après le Omaggio. Je le pensais beaucoup plus pâtissier que son confrère mais finalement les profils sont assez similaires avec une belle complémentarité entre les notes boisées, fruitées et sucrées. La finale est superbe de douceur. Très cool.

kleines, privates Savanna Coss-Tasting 2025-07-10: Ja, es wird immer besser im Line-up. Schön ausgewogen, mit Aromen von Früchten (Erdbeere, Kirsche, Banane), Olive, Holz und Marzipan. Gefällt mir sehr gut.

Once again, an intense and beautiful Savanna nose. This one is, in addition to the fruity-spicy base note, clearly vinegar, direction apple cider vinegar (also some sweat?). In addition, there is a slight, somewhat artificial sweetness of cherry, lemon and caramel.Also fruity-spicy but also dry on the palate. Fruit esters do come through here. Goes quite in the direction of strawberry with lime. Slightly bitter it pulls after . This S. Does not have the otherwise soapy. In the appendix it remains dry, it remains strawberry and it becomes somewhat grassy.Savanna is really good.
