CDI Panama (Bottled for Premium Spirits) 2009
Reviews land in "solid but nothing special" territory, and that's the honest read. It's a chocolatey Panama column-still rum — milk chocolate and cocoa powder up front, then spice, wood and a touch of licorice. Several tasters flag the 61.8% as hot and only half-integrated, and a couple found the nose closed and flat. The creamy chocolate opening is the best part.

How does CDI Panama (Bottled for Premium Spirits) 2009 taste?
Aggregated from 13 community reviews.
Chocolatey Panama, hot and a bit one-note Most land around "decent, not memorable" — chocolate is the draw, but the high proof sits unintegrated and a few found it closed and one-note.

Brussels Rhum Festival 15/03/2025 Lacks nose. Maybe it needs time to open up. Very basic rum nothing special. Something spicy in finish?

Review by Johannes
Guter, typischer Panama-Rum mit vordergründig Schokoladen-Noten.

15/03/25: tasted @ Brussels Rhum Festival. Panama can be way more interesting than this. This had a rather average flavour profile, but not bad. I appreciate the higher ABV, but the alcohol could have been better integrated.
Review by Frank

Review by Basti
