Habitation du Simon A1710 La Délivrande 2016
One taster called it elegant and full of dried fruit and wood, and that's the read most people land on. Ripe melon and apricot on the nose, then tobacco, cocoa and burnt caramel on a dry, roasted palate. It's a well-made Martinique agricole that drinks classic rather than wild — the recurring gripe is that the price stings for a six-year-old.

How does Habitation du Simon A1710 La Délivrande 2016 taste?
Aggregated from 53 community reviews.
Dry, roasted agricole with cocoa and tobacco Loved for its dry, roasted cocoa-and-tobacco profile and long finish. Most call it a very good, classic agricole — but nearly everyone flags the price as steep for the age.

A very nice discovery, in addition to being the first old made with the juices of the distillery. This rum is very greedy, with a nice length in mouth. The cocoa notes give a real gourmet power.

ooravdu great full-bodied taste. We drank A1710 in the deatilerie straight from the cask
Review by Djehey
Very interesting profile. The Martinique characteristics are there, with a fruity, ripe edge. Added to this is the alembic effect, which gives it a roasted edge. The woodiness is pleasant, but more on the cherry side. A rum that's right up my alley, except for the ridiculous price tag... Edit: the nose is warm, gourmand and charming. So is the first taste, the second taste and the finish are much spicier.

Very interesting, I'll be interested to listen to it again later.

Příjemný agricole, elegantní, plný sušeného ovoce (meruňky) a dřeva. V chuti i trocha tabáku, dochuť není příliš dlouhá. Požadovaná cena (250 eur) je velmi ambiciózní, za tyto peníze se dají sehnat komplexnější rumy.

It is very nice, but clearly not worth the price... too bad

I feel agricole delicate in taste but very expressive
