Das Beste an diesem Rum ist seine Nase, die unheimlich nach Apfel oder den grünen Apfelringen riecht. Im Mund typisch Wooden Still mit vielen pflanzlichen, holzigen und würzigen Noten. Abgang: schwere Fassnoten, leicht modrig und pflanzlich dazu. Der Preis ist angelehnt an einer 20 jährigen Lagerung entsprechend hoch, ich denke aber, dass Ramero interessantere Rums im Angebot hat und man woanders bessere Port Mourants für den gleichen Preis bekommt.

Also im ersten Moment nicht so schlecht wie man meinen könnte. Ja gut, in der Nase ist dieser Rum überwiegend holzig, aber auch etwas röstig und würzig. Also ich empfehle diesen Rum... auf jeden Fall ;-)

#4275 01.10.2023 I think the price tag on this one is very fair. The profile is medium heavy with roasted wood and light fruit. The palate is oily and medium spicy and I like the licorice touch to it. The finish is medium to long, lightly dry and warm. Draws beautiful curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some light caramel to it.

Damals schon am GRF probiert aber wohl vergessen zu bewerten. Da DomM zum kurzen Sampletausch da war und noch ein Sample hatte, nochmal in Ruhe probieren können. Muss ehrlicher Weise zugeben, daß ich positiv überrascht bin.
