Good value for money We find the barbade with coconut, vanilla and spices. Perhaps a little young, but correct
Review by Rare Akuma
You get what you pay for, and that’s it. This bottle functions well as a low cost daily, but it’s simply too young and too uncomplex to excite. The nose doesn’t get past coconut and bitter lemon peels. Petrichor raising sparse minerality, but most of all smells like weak coffee with lots of cream. Tasting kicks the caramel into second gear. Very smooth, sweet and buttery. The wood develops quite slowly, but it’s definitely present at the back of the palate. It’s lightly minty and more smoked than expected. Released for Black Friday 2022.
