This is a remarkable rum Hampden! I like it a lot! It’s has a lovely Cherry note😍 Nose: Typical Hampden Falvours funk, ester, glue… with a hint of cherry and papaya Mouth: reflects what you expect from the nose 😜a nice complexity, well balanced, the alcohol is integrated very well too! Finish: Long with lovely notes of pineapple, ester and the barrel notes! Well done SaibotZtar 💪🏻💪🏻

Wow! Was für eine geile Kreation SaibotZtar. Ein Hampden High Ester Blend (HLCF, C<>H, DOK) geaged in einem kleinen Fass mit satten 63,3%. Ich hatte das Glück über die Reifung (ein Jahr) drei Proben kosten zu dürfen und das finale Produkt ist richtig geil geworden. Die Nase ist herrlich und dennoch für High Ester nicht zu krass. Im Mund schöne Frucht und auch das Holz ist präsent, aber nicht zu stark. Rating ist hier natürlich schwer, da es quasi nichts vergleichbares gibt, aber würde ich das Gerät so bei Hampden kaufen wäre ich sehr zufrieden. Heute Abend kommt natürlich noch der Mai Tai Test.

Hammer Kreation! Eine Typische Jamaica Nase kommt mir beim einschenken entgegen. Habe ihn atmen lassen, danach war er milder. Ziemlich geiles Teil.

Blind tasting. A very gourmet Hampden. A super pineapple pastry. Fruits, creamy almond powder. Still very dry, really good. A nice surprise. Thank you Tobias for the opportunity to taste this.

Hervorragender Rum, mehr kann man hierzu nicht sagen. Ich schmecke hier eine leichte Kirschblüte heraus. Der erste Schluck war relativ hart, aber nachdem man sich dran gewöhnt hat, wirklich ein Rum von hoher Qualität.

Überraschend viel Fasseinfluss für nur ein Jahr Reifung! Die typischen Hampden Marker von Estern, Klebstoff und karamellisierter Ananas werden hier vermutlich durchs Fass von Kakao, etwas Kirsche und intensiven Tanninen begleitet. Wirklich gut gemachter Blend, nur fast schon etwas zu viel Holz-Einfluss für meinen Geschmack

Zuerst danke für den FreeSampler. Muss zu gestehen vor einem Great House müsste dieser sich jetzt nicht unbedingt verstecken. Hat mich schon sehr daran erinnert. Die einzige wirkliche kleine Kritik ist, dass er im Abgang mir persönlich ein bißchen zu säuerlich ist. Aber evtl. liegt es an meiner Tagesform.

Richtig leckerer Blend wo die einzelnen Marks erkennbar sind. Der Fasseinfluss ist sehr gut dossiert und passt perfekt zu diesem Jamaica Blend. Hut ab, super gelungen pur super lecker und im Mai Tai eine Wucht 🚀

Tolles Projekt, toller Blend. Harmonisch fruchtig im höheren Ester-Bereich mit schöner Fassnote. Der Vergleich ist zwar nicht treffend, aber ich würde diesen Blend hier jederzeit dem Great House vorziehen.

Schöner Blend mit eindeutiger Esterfracht und viel Würze durch den Faßeinfluß. Nach einiger Zeit mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser eine angenehmer Nussigkeit. Die Esternoten bleiben abgeschwächt präsent. Sehr gut!
