Visit to Ricci. Like last time, just great: 14 rums tasted, 2 hours with us, all quality rums, some of them very high-flying, like this 19-year-old bielle... Inevitably woody, but neither aggressive nor overpowering. There's something really elegant here, with nuts, dried fruit, tobacco and leather.

More wood please ? Nose : wood Mouth : woody wood Finish : wood Seriously, in a blind tasting I would say old Armagnac, but not the one I prefer as it’s too much wood oriented… the problem is that we’re talking about rhum not Armagnac. Just a shame at this price tag
