Stade’s Rum Bond No8
Sip it neat and you get pineapple, melon, citrus and a layer of oak, with a fatter body than most Barbados rums thanks to extra esters. A few tasters pick up caramel, coconut and "a little Jamaican funk." Several note it's nice but lacks depth neat, and shines more in cocktails and cola.

Review by Mark Leggett
This rum is a mix of column and pot still. Smells of caramel, coconut, mango and a little Jamaican funk. Flavor follows the smell with hints of cinnamon and dark fruit. Complex flavor profile.
Review by Benjamin Penman
A fine rum, leading with mild sweetness and overripe pineapple and gardenia flowers on the nose. Sipping opens up sweetness, oak, vanilla, and a touch of island fruit. Finish is mostly oak and some bitterness once the sweetness subsides.
Review by Wagnerlicious
Tasted as part of the distillery tour. Unfortunately, it lacks a little depth. Fine notes of pineapple, melon and citrus. Some oak. Not a rum that is a taste sensation on its own, but well suited for mixing and cocktails.
Review by Mitchell Kennedy
Sweet caramel, plum, and date taste. A little bit of wood and spice, but not much. Mostly dried dark fruit and molasses.
