In my. Sample, as you can see in the photo, I have a lot of barrel residue. Very rough, what Blackadder does. The rum is delicious, a little sharp on the palate. The pear and honey really stand out for me.

A special rum that needs some time in the glass. The notes are intense and demanding. Not an everyday rum for me. Woody, roasted with various fruits, I particularly like the pear. Fun to drink.

03.04.2020 Nice private tasting with a new group of rummies. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, polish, banana, anise. Palate Round, wood, light roasted, polish, spicy, berries, leather, dried fruit. Finish Medium to long, spicy, leather, vegetal, dried fruit.

12/03/25: tasted @ open bottle sale TasTToe. Fiji can be kind of hit or miss for me, and this one was a bit disappointing. I was expecting more dirty, glue or olive notes but this was not the case. Way too friendly.
