What a beautiful rum! The nose is beautifully fruity, with citrus fruits in particular. Spice and wood are accompanied by gentle alcohol notes. Very mild and fruity in the mouth with good spiciness. I think they've managed that very well. Super balanced and really an absolute highlight for beginners. You can't complain about the price-performance ratio either.

This is a very well balanced rum and I'd say it could be a good beginners rum. Would have loved a higher ABV which I talked about with the representative. Fruity and fresh with spice and wood and a light touch of chocolate. Price to quality is very good in my mind.

Pleasant nose, with fruity notes of sherry and cask spice. Balanced on the palate with a medium finish. Good balance of sweetness, sherry, fruit, and spice. Pleasant finish dominated by the spice.

So jetzt kommen wir in anständige Bereiche. Dieser hier hat eine schöne fruchtige Nase mit einem Hauch von Vanille und Schokolade. Im Gaumen kommt er dann holzig daher, das Fass ist zu schmecken, sowie ein Hauch Schokolade und etwas Würze.

Der große Bruder vom Wagemut PX-Cask. Wunderbare Fruchtnoten zusammen mit Gewürzen in der Nase. Im Mund unglaublich weich und samtig mit Gewürz, Sherry und Vanillenoten. Sehr ausgewogen, mild und rund im Abgang.

Der Größe Bruder vom everybody‘s-darling mit 38%. Wirkt reifer und erwachsener. Gleichermaßen auch intensiver bei den Röstaromen, Marzipan. Ist mehr ein daily sipper als ein Saufrum (wie der kleine Bruder). Ergo: passt scho!

Toll. Das erste Mal den Wagemut XO im Glas. Sehr runder Sipper mit etwas Holz, Vanille und Sherryeinfluss. Wahrscheinlich gut für Einsteiger geeignet. Von mir aus könnte er noch paar % mehr vertragen. :)))

Dies ist mein erster Rum von Wagemut. Er ist recht hochpreisig für das gebotene, trinkt sich dafür aber sehr weich und unkompliziert. In der Nase habe ich hauptsächlich Vanille, Trockenfrüchte, ein paar Backgewürze und etwas Holz. Am Gaumen dann sehr süß, da er vermutlich gezuckert ist. Die Textur ist daher sehr cremig und wieder habe ich Vanille, etwas Holz und hinzu kommen Milchschokolade, Dörrpflaume sowie Kokosnuss. Der Abgang ist kurz und lebt von Vanille, Karamell, Holz und Rosine. Die 43% sind kaum wahrnehmbar und deswegen ist dieser Rum sehr leicht zu trinken. Vielen Dank an @DanielS für das Sample.

Dieser Rum wurde in der Kavalierbar zum durchstöbern der Rumkarte gereicht. In der Nase angenehm fruchtig, süß und komplex. Im Mund überlädt die süße, zumindest nachdem man bereits einen ungesüßten Rum getrunken hat.

Nicht zu komplex, easy sipper. Zum Einsteigen in ein Tasting bevor man sich zu wirklich guten Rums vorarbeitet. Reisst einen nicht vom Hocker mit dem immer ähnlichen Sherry-Profil um es, dem Endkunden gerecht, schön süss zu halten, aber PLV ist OK, wenngleich es auch günstigere Alternativen gibt. Ein Sample hat gereicht!

Pflaume, Traube und Holz in der Nase und natürlich die hauseigene Sherrynote. Letztere ist hier deutlicher als beim Standard, kommt älter und dunkler daher. So ein ganz kleines bisschen minzige Guyanaanleihen hat er auch. Wie auch beim Standard stört mich hier am Gaumen, dass er relativ "dünn" für eine Foursquare daherkommt. Kühl, nicht so vollmundig wie es die Nase vermuten lässt und mit deutlichem Sherrycharakter. Das zieht sich leider durch die gesamte Range und bringt meinerseits Abzüge. Nichtsdestotrotz - für Sherryfans ein Muss, absolut gefällig und gut gemacht. Ich fänd's in Fassstärke und mit weniger Sherry vermutlich trotzdem massiv geiler ;)

Už hodnota abv avizuje, že to nebude nejzájímavější foursquare. Voní to tak jak by rum z barbadosu vonět mohl, chuťově to je ale taková nepřiliž zajímavá, až uplně nezajímavá šťávička. Na druhou stranu přechodovej rum do neslazených rumů.

Not tasty. At least not sweetened ... Foursquare je destilerka z Barbadosu produkujici uzasne rumy ke kazdodennimu popijeni. Je to rum, ktery oceni zejmena rumari, kteri maji plne zuby cukru a hledaji jemny, nasladly rum plny kokosu, vanilky, cokolady a karamelu. Proste prijemne a nijak agresivni chute.

Nase: Eher zurückhaltend, sehr rund/weich, Alkohol sticht nicht. Orange bzw Orangeat wie in einem weihnachtlichen Kuchen, etwas Vanille und andere nicht identifizierbare Gewürze, minimale Holznoten. Mund: unglaublich weiches, cremiges Mundgefühl, Alkohol kaum spürbar trotz erhöhter Alkoholstärke, Gewürze, Holz, Vanille dominieren. Alkohol erst beim Herunterschlucken spürbar und etwas kribbelnd. Abgang: Höchstens mittellang, könnte gern etwas kräftiger sein. Hier fehlt mir etwas der Kick. Insgesamt ein schöner, gut gemachter Rum, der nicht überfordert und leicht zugänglich ist. Sanfter Einstieg in die Foursquare Welt.
