03.01.2023 Going through some samples at home while watching Aquaman on the telly. Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, light wood, faint roasted, fruity, light citrus, vegetal, faint medicinal, apple. Palate Intense, warm, round, fresh, light wood, light vegetal, fruity, oily, light citrus, light tannins, medium dry. Finish Long and warm, light wood, light tannins, fruity, medium dry.

Classic tropical fruit solvent nose. Classic tropical fruit and oak on the palate, but overall less dark and more balanced than Sample X. Long burnt-wood finish. Alcohol fairly well integrated. Rather pleasant, but not my kind of rum...

Tropical fruits meet tea, wood and a touch of menthol. Nice selection, good Clarendon. The alcohol remains present, but does not drift into the unpleasant. Overall, the flavor spectrum remains within the expected range, overall would have to do a bit more flavorwise to advance to even higher dimensions.

In my opinion, esprit is a very very underrated bottler. For me, the beautiful clarendon, fruit, tea and a little solvent in the aroma is written all over the taste. Quite a lot of alcohol, but it doesn't go to unpleasant. Very nice bottling.
