Richtig cooler Worthy Park. Kann jetzt nicht behaipten, dass er typisch Jamaika ist. Kommt für mich ziemlich dunkel daher. Vor allem sehr würzig, holzig und röstig. Am Gaumen dann auch noch Karamell und dunkle Schokolade.

The nose is super. Again, as so often typical for me with the 2007 Worthy Parks, smoked peach and lots of forest honey. Burnt caramel emerges on the finish. Tropical fruits play around the whole. The finish is slightly tart and somewhat alcoholic. Very tasty but that certain something doesn't make it onto my palate.

There is not much in the way of flavor. The rum is clearly vanilla and correspondingly sweet and the distillate takes a back seat. Worthy Park can be really good and beautifully fruity, this is more of a regional league.

Read full review →The Thompson Brothers also have a Jamaican rum from Clarendon for sale (pictured to the right) which might be worth a punt on as well. I haven't tried it............yet. I'm not posting a link either you'll have to find it yourself. This is excellent stuff!
