People already into agricole are the audience here: a young Guadeloupe cane-juice rum, all cut grass, honey, and floral notes with bright papaya and melon underneath. At cask strength the 55.2% still shows some heat and rough edges. Several tasters called it a decent but "interchangeable" young agricole — grassy, earthy, fresh, and honest, but not one that reaches for greatness.

דוגמית מעניין שאחרי 6 שנים בחבית, שמשווים את הרום הזה לרום הלא מיושן של המזקקה. נראה שיש ירידה מסויימת באיכות ובארומות. הרבה יותר עשבוני ומריר. פירות בהירים. בושם. פרחים. אדמתי קצת. מתיקות קלה. רום טוב אבל לא משהו שאמליץ לקנות.

10.02.2024 tasting event at the Nobilis Warehouse, Haderslev. Retasting and I stick to my initial score. ----------------------- Once rested this is a pretty nice rum. A young rum but still manages to make a good impression.

Ve vůni přijemné květina a ovoce.. v chuti od začátku zemitost, čerstvě posekaná tráva, později se připomene těch 55,2% abv a taky se protlačí trocha melounu. Celé je to velmi intenzivní ukončené dlohým závěrem. Za mě prima agricole.

Hat gegenüber dem Weißen viel an Fruchtigkeit verloren. Ansonsten mir deutlich zu scharf.

Ja mei…Süße, etwas grüne und gelbe Früchte. Alkohol gut eingebunden. Im Ergebnis: Belangloser Agricole, nicht schlecht, aber auch nix Besonderes.

Ersteinmal die No. 22B von den drei zum Einstieg… Nase: fruchtig-floral-süß. Eine Mischung aus reifer, fast vergorener Honigmelone, Papaya und grüner Mango. Süße von Honig und Zuckerwasser. Dazu eine leichte Essig-Note und etwas vegatibles Richtung eingelegter Artischocke. Ganz hinten findet sich noch eine trockene, holzige Nuance. Am Gaumen anfangs kräftig und salzig, dann zunehmend erdiger und grasiger werdend. Vernehme etwas leicht fruchtiges von unreifer Papaya. Frisch geschnittenes Geäst und Kümmel kommen durch. Im Abgang Heu und grasiges Zuckerrohr. Junger und daher typischer und auch austauschbarer Agricole.

Solider, junger Rum mit noch viel jugendlicher Frische. Noch mit einigen Ecken und Kanten, auch der Alkohol ist noch nicht gänzlich gezähmt. Potenzial ist da, interessante Erfahrung, mir sind die reiferen Montebellos aber deutlich lieber.
