Aufmerksam auf die Travellers Distillerie bin ich durch sehr gut bewertete Abfüllungen anderer unabhängiger Abfüller geworden. Dieser Rum ist verglichen mit diesen, die auch um 2007 destilliert und 10+ Jahre gelagert wurden, ein wahres Schnäppchen! Genial röstige Aromen, Karamell, Banane, Vanille, Milchschokolade, wobei der Fokus mehr auf der Karamellseite liegt. Im Mund passiert leider nicht mehr so viel bis auf eine direkte Kombination aus süßem Karamell und röstigen/scharfen Gewürzen. Insgesamt gefällt mir der Rum sehr gut, vor allem die Kombination Bananen-Kaffee-Sahnetoffee-Milchschokolade.

Unfortunately, alcohol is perceptible both on the palate and on the nose. Overall a good Belize with top PLV.
