Savanna Créol 52
One taster called it a "great olive brine" in a glass, and that captures it: this Reunion cane-juice blanc leans hard into green olives, brine, fresh sugarcane and a peppery, herbal edge. Matcha, artichoke and citrus show up too. Several found it simple but genuinely enjoyable — and even better in a Ti-Punch than sipped straight.
The community says- Fresh cane, herbal
- Unusual olive-brine profile
- Short-ish finish

totally whacky. Mint, Thai basil, green olives, green tomatoes(tomatillos), green peppers, grape must (Federweisser) some saffron, sesame and green pepper. in the finish then slightly metallic and salty sweet. crass number!in the daiquiri by the way absolutely unique for me, the creol number is in any case explored further 🤤👌

Here we have a beautiful Agricole from Savanna. The nose is actually typical Agricole, herbal, fresh and tropical fruits are recognizable. Sugar cane and herbs are added on the palate. A good Agricole.

Tasted at the 11th GRF in Savanna Tasting: Good mixer with character, not wrong, but also not a highlight.
Review by Rhum Mirror 🇧🇪
Intense nose of fresh cane, very vegetable and carried on the lemon and the pepper. In mouth it is also very fresh and lemony. The whole with a nice length, a bit more iodized and metallic... It's simple but it's good... and even more so in Ti-Punch !

Very pleasant white. Nose and palate get along well, very vegetal. Very present cane. Very spicy and hard citrus on the finish.

Nose: vegetal, floral and iodized notes. Supple attack with marine notes, powerful, highly alcoholic body with plenty of vegetal notes, citrus and a little pepper. The finish is short, with the same aromas as on the nose. It's not bad, but very classic, and I was expecting a little more complexity on the palate.

The rums from the Savanna distillery are some of my favourites. I recommend everyone to try especially the higher ester pieces like Grand arome or HERR. You haven't felt so much fruit in a few little drops of liquid for a long time.

Première review pour de vrai ! Au nez : Végétal +++ agrume, canne fraîche, banane, olive, gras Au goût : citron, salin, un peu poivré Final : moyen court
Review by JB
Original
Review by MJ97
